Little Bear’s In Wanstead Village has successfully completed ; “Two Year Olds Champion Award,” as part of Redbridge’s quality assurance programme, QuILT. In order to qualify for the award the nursery had to undertake a programme of evaluation, assessment and implementation to meet specific criteria successfully.The Two Year old Campion award is the first module of a nine module programme of assessment, consisting of:

- Aims, Values & Principles
- Equal Opportunities
- Learning & Teaching Strategies
- Observation, Assessment & Planning
- Parental partnership, Home & Community Liaison
- The Learning Experiences
- The Physical Environment
Each provision area is evidenced with what has been implements, areas in which the Nursery wishes to improve and the impacts on the two year old children. This was presented to the Redbridge Panel for decision and achievement awards.
