At Little Bear’s Daycare group we firmly believe in the benefits of learning through play. We therefore encourage our Little Bears to engage in a number of educational activities that are centred around play.
Creating poppy artwork was a great way to start to teach the little ones about Remembrance Day and Armistice Day.
At our Wanstead Green setting the little ones all dressed up in red to mark this special occasion.
As a multicultural society it is important for the children to learn about different cultures and religions. We therefore celebrate a number of different religious holidays, all of which provide a number of opportunities to get creative.
Children In Need
Supporting Charity events always presents an opportunity to dress up and have some fun. This November 13th was no different, as children and staff donned their spots, baked some tasty treats and raised money for charity.
Little Bear’s In East Village raised £213.20 alone!
To celebrate Children In Need the staff and children at Wanstead Green held a competition to find the best dressed bear for each room. Plus the children made their own Pudsey.
Below are photos of all the winners and staff who dressed up.
